Carcoal, lil bit of pastel, tape
I've been playing with this doodle the past couple of days. I was going to work on it more, but got impatient. I'm freaking out without my kneaded erasers! I had to use bits of scotch tape to erase on this. Works pretty well if you like a rough look. This is also pretty much reference free! ^^ I usually need them for realism. Lucked up this time. I think the composition might have been better if the top was lowered, maybe covering the top of his head. Well, anyway, at least I got some charcoal practice in, and now I know that when I'm desperate, I can use tape to erase.
Also, I don't think you can tell very well, but his eyes are cracked a bit and looking to his right. Just realized the scan looked a bit cross-eyed. LOL
