Lady Dogiva

Finally finished my sculpture today. ^_^ It's in the lost wax method. Our assignment was to recreate an important event in history, but all the main characters had to be dogs. I chose Lady Godiva because I thought sculpting a dog in clothes would be hard. LOL The horse is a Shire, forgot the dog breed, but it starts with an A or an S.
I'm surprised that any part of the reins cast. I had a bit going to her hand, but that broke off as I put the patina on. Maybe I can solder some copper wire on it one day.
The original statue was made of wax, my own hair, and cloth. Bronzed and the weight is about 5 pounds.
