Jobs and life have changed so this needs another update.
So, Stalker, my name is Arwen, as you've probably guessed. Yep, my real name. Dad was a big fan. It's as common as Kathy in England, and I bet several of you reading this are saying, "That's my name!" See, told ya! I know four of them myself. I have to separate them by "work, boss, friend, and mail lady." I am also a Cutco rep. Not actively showing, but if you've been looking for one to get some of the most awesome knives in the world, I can take orders over the phone or through email. And I am always taking commissions of course. |

I've been married for 6 years.  It's been Heaven. If the first five years are indeed the hardest, I am really in for a treat for the rest of our lives. My "bread winner" is a lucky guy. Not every man gets to marry a geek like me. Didn't think I'd every meet a guy that loves all the same things I do. Science fiction, comics, video games, reading... Ah, geek love! We've already made a third geek for our family.  Named after a zombie killer, she's well on her way.<--- my honey bunny |

My daughter is delayed in speech, and is showing some autistic tendancies. Any of you ever watch Death Note? She acts almost exactly like L, minus the constant nibbling on sweets. Has a little of Hawkeye from Mash thrown in for good measure. |

It is pretty awesome being the mom of a character.|
I am "stationed" in Louisiana right now. I miss feeling "at home." I don't think Louisiana is it. There was one town, Lecompte, that was pretty awesome, but after all of the friends you grow up with move on and have families of their own, it never feels quite the same. Louisiana is also very polluted. Since there is so much ground water, a lot of factories were invited in. Water quality is low and the vast majority of towns here smell. There is a marked difference just between Louisiana and Arkansas. Louisiana is a cloud of death as you head toward it. So my family and I are patiently awaiting the day we can pack up and move someplace else. Regular snowfall is a plus. I said this move was my last, but I changed my mind. lol So that would make move number 15 (I think!) my very last. Hopefully. Now to just decide between West Virginia and Colorado. Still here? Let me tell you a little bit more about me, I guess. My favorite color is blue. My husband and I have two cats and two aquariums. We're allergic to cats. I dislike having a lot of "stuff." I bought an mp3 player and eReader to get rid of all my CD's and books. Now if I could only get a movie player like that. From all of our years of not having cable, my husband and I have about 750 DVD's between us. I'd love to get rid of those! If I was alone for a week, our kitchen cabinets would look extraordinarily roomy, my husband's books would likely go missing, and we would definitely be losing a few pieces of furniture. And perhaps the dining room table. We never eat on it anyway. It's used for sewing, crafts, and for Alice to climb on. It'll probably be a fort most of the time when she's older. =P I also delete art like mad when the mood hits me so if you like something you see, save it to your computer. It might be down the next day. Update, June 13 2011 Baby two is due on February 20th!
